Bill Headed to the Yale Writers Workshop

Bill was accepted to the 2022 Yale Writers Workshop with his novel-in-progress, The Bottomless Pit!

Part A Wrinkle in Time, part Stand By Me, the story, which is targeted for mid-level readers, centers around twelve year-old Jack Boniface, who is bored to death in the middle of rural Minnesota in 1977. Then he and his friends find what seems to be a real, live bottomless pit! Or is it? Jack also gets messages from someone from inside the pit: Please help! Jack and his pals have no choice now but to jump in…and face dangers and discover wonders beyond their wildest imagining.

Bill published the first six chapters of the story as the lauded The Bottomless Pit podcast.

Bill is excited to dive back into The Bottomless Pit and explore the book-side of the writing world. And hopefully, this means more to come in the adventures of Jack and his friends!
